Baseus Recalls Two Models of Power Banks

Your safety is our top priority. Baseus is recalling two power bank models. Baseus is conducting a recall in cooperation with Australian Comepetition & Consumer Commission ("ACCC"). Click here to view the ACCC recall notice.

Two affected power bank models are as follows

• Baseus Magnetic Mini Wireless Fast Charge Power Bank 2022, 6000mAh 20W — Model PPCXM06;
• Baseus Magnetic Wireless Charging Power Bank 6000mAh 20W —Model PPCXW06.

We have become aware that the power banks contain a lithium-ion battery that can overheat, swell and/or bludge, posing a fire hazard.

The model number is displayed on the magnetic side of the device. Please see example images below:

WHAT YOU SHOULD DO

If you have a PPCXM06 or PPCXW06 model power bank, please stop using it immediately. Please disconnect the power bank from any chargers or devices.

You should immediately power off and safely store the product, and contact Baseus to receive a full refund.

You should dispose of the product in accordance with the local regulations for disposing of lithium batteries. Do not throw the product in the rubbish, home recycling, or public recycling boxes.

OBTAINING A REFUND

We are offering a refund to affected users. You may have already received email correspondence from us, outlining the steps to obtaining a refund from us. If you have not received an email, please contact Baseus via +61 1800 954 260 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday AEST, or email productrecalls-au@baseus.com to commence your refund.

Please make sure you have the following:

(1) proof of purchase (such as an order confirmation)

(2) a photo of your device showing either PPCXM06 or PPCXW06 model numbers (displayed on magnetic side, see example images above)

(3) the serial number “SN”, which is printed on the narrow side of the device (see example images below)
